THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator / New Grad on a 6-month contract to join our Operations Accounting team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, the successful candidate will have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills along with a passion for learning. The ideal candidate can be a recent graduate who is motivated and has a passion to learn about the oil and gas industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process daily invoices, including verification of correct coding and sufficient approvals 
  • Upload PDF invoices into the invoice processing system for proper coding and approval routing 
  • Handle cheque requests, donation requests, and manage cancelled or re-issued cheques 
  • Assist the AP Coordinator with adjusting journal entries 
  • Provide general administrative support to the AP team as needed 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:  

  • Prior experience and familiarity with SAP or other financial systems is a benefit, but not absolutely required 
  • Although training and mentoring will be provided, the successful candidates must be able to work independently within a team environment 
  • Ability to identify, follow through and resolve issues with good communication skills and strong attention to detail are of utmost importance 
  • Intermediate proficiency in Office 365, particularly Excel and Word
