Senior Business Systems Analyst - FICO (12-month contract)

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a Senior S/4 SAP FICO Consultant for a 12-month term to join our BSA team and support our Accounting and Finance groups. Working with our Information Technology team, this position reports to the Manager, Enterprise Business Systems and requires an organized, detail oriented and motivated individual who is ready to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. The role provides the opportunity to work alongside team members with extensive and diverse experience within the Information Technology field. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Provide expertise in financial accounting, management accounting, cost controlling, and related SAP FICO functionalities 
  • Experience in design and configuration of General Ledger, JV Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling Modules, Group Reporting, Project Systems 
  • Experience in SAP S/4 CDS views, configuration, workflow customization and BTP Integration Suite 
  • Conduct system testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to bridge the gap between IT and the business creating efficiencies 
  • Support implementations and upgrades of technical applications and processes 
  • Effect change management through analysis of business requirements, documentation, training, and troubleshooting in respect of department applications and processes 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:  

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration 
  • Minimum 10 years of SAP experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or Management Accounting (FICO). 
  • A background in finance or accounting is considered an asset 
  • AP S/4HANA SAP certification is an asset 
  • Strong understanding of the integration points with other SAP such as Success Factors, EAM, Enverus OpenInvoice and OpenTicket, Project Systems, Cash and Treasury 
  • Some technical experience in LSMW, Fiori development, planning and reporting tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferred 
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels within the organization 
  • Experience with software testing and project management, and able to work through complex issues 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels within the organization and exceptional organizational skills 
  • Any ABAP development experience would be an asset
